This is a Bible institution which is very different from secular institutions, with different aims, different focuses and different pursuits. The primary purpose of studies in this institution is to equip the students for the ministries and for the WORLD HARVEST.

Each bachelor degree students is mandated to choose a faculty of his or her choice which shall be the focus of his or her studies for four years, in order to make him or her what God calls him or her to be. Each student of this institution must studty or pass through twelve (12) departments in his or her four years of studies in this institution. This does not mean finishing all the courses in all the 12 departments but studying some of the courses in 12 departments in order to make him or her be great in the ministry. Every student must cover at least 108 courses or more for his bachelor degree programs, including all elective courses.

If a faculty chosen by a student hasn’t up to 12 departments to enrich the student, other closer faculties could be added to make up the course or to make up the number of courses desired or the number of departments expected to make up the programme.

No Student is allowed to choose more than a faculty, though, the school authority has the right to add more courses from other faculties to the courses for such students in order to score the number of courses needed.

EXEGESIS OF PUBLIC BIBLICAL COMMUNICATION.
Exegesis of public Biblical communication is an undergraduate course for those who may desire to be public speakers, crusaders, platform preachers, field evangelists, open air preachers, conference speakers and all who may wish to be involved in crowd pulling ministries and in inter-denominational; conferences. It is a part of Biblical practice and stands as a specialized course in public speaking, Biblical teaching and in Biblical preaching.

AIMS OF THE PROGRAMMES
This programme is designed  to equip and to build public speakers with the necessary materials that can generate the power, knowledge and the experience that can make the students the type of persons they desire to be in order to achieve the visions and goals they aimed at pursuing.

DURATION OF STUDIES
Unless candidates who desire to take this after their graduation, the course lasts only two years after Diploma programmes of the candidates in theological related courses. It is a four year programme without Diploma, but a two year programme after acquiring Diploma in Theology, in missions, in Biblical studies or in any related course.

DEPARTMENT OF GOSPEL COMMUNICATIONS
The department of communication is a specialized programme designed to build, to equip and to train the gospel ministers in a specialized and specific ministry of the gospel communication, powerful preaching, Biblical teaching and Ethics of soul winning through Bible communication. It is an undergraduates course aiming at training the  students in Diploma and in bachelor degree course. It is open for all who want to be specialist in Gospel communications.

Consideration will be given to both defensive and offensive posture of the Christian.

Healing in the Bible is analyzed first, followed by healing in non-Christian religion and family healing in today’s world. Emphasis is laid on distinguished healing of a divine source from that which comes from other sources.

T 212: GIFTS, SIGNS AND MIRACLES IV, 1-TRIMESTER HOUR: An introduction to the study of miracles. The foundation is laid by a study of miracles in both the old and new testaments. The operation of the miraculous in today’s world is considered and particular note is made of the possibilities of deception.

T 412: HISTORY OF CHRISTIANITY IN AFRICA 2-TRIMESTER HOURS: The history of Christianity on the African continent, its origins in North Africa and its spread in black Africa in modern times.

T 421: HOLINESS TRADITION 2-TRIMESTER HOURS: A study of the theology and history of the holiness movement over the past 250 years. The study commences with the ministries of John and Charles Wesley and continues through the nineteen century interdenominational holiness revival to the present movement world-wide. This course includes a survey of holiness literature.

T 432: HERMENEUTICS 2-TRIMESTER HOURS: The science of biblical interpretation with examination and explanation of the various systems of such. Using selected passages of scripture, the disciplines necessary in biblical interpretation come to be understood and developed.

MI 111 CROSS CULTURAL COMMUNICATION 2-TRIMESTER HOURS: Insights from rhetoric, persuasion, motivational psychology, semiotics, psycholinguistics, cultural anthropology and comparative religion all brought to bear on the problem of communicating Christian message in another culture.

MI 122 HISTORY OF MISSIONS 2-TRIMESTER HOURS: A historical overview of the missionary work of the church from the beginning until the present. Emphasis is given to trends, issues, strategy and methods of the missionary movement. The course is designed to give the student a broad outlook and sympathetic understanding of the church’s world-wide task.

MI 211 CHURCH GROWTH 2-TRIMESTER HOURS: Study of the Biblical mandates and procedures for church growth as well as study of present-day churches that are growing in order to discern the causes for church growth. The role of the pastor as a spiritual leader is carefully considered.

MI 222 CHURCH PLANTING  2-TRIMESTER HOURS: How to plant a church in Nigeria. The problems and techniques of church planting , including contact, church structure, forms of worship, self support, lay participation, leadership development, church mission and church denomination relationship.

MI 341 PROSPECTIVE I, II, 2-TRIMESTER HOURS EACH: A broad study of the world Christian movement under the heads of mission, pioneers of mission, cultural aspects and strategy planning spread over two trimesters.

MI 441 WORLD RELIGIONS I, (II ISLAM)  2-TRIMESTER HOURS EACH: Survey of the history and tents of the major living religions, giving special attention to their relationship to the missionary task of the church. The second section concentrates on (African) Islam.

L  101 BASIC ENGLISH SKILLS I, II, 4-TRIMESTER HOURS EACH: This course is designed and taught as development, rather than remedial. For those whose command of English is sub-standard on entrance, this course is necessary.

L 111 ENGLISH COMPOSITION AND EXPRESSION, 4-TRIMESTER HOURS: This course is aimed at giving students the basis of the English language that will assist them in communication and to do well in their examination. It is also aimed at helping students to cope with reading and comprehension, vital in their academic pursuit.

L 211 USE OF ENGLISH I, II, 4-TRIMESTER HOURS EACH: This course is intended for first year students who are embarking on their diploma or degree studies in a senior seminary. More advanced reading and writing will be pursued so that at the end an approximate standard of first year university work is attained.

L 311 ENGLISH AND BUSINESS COMMUNICATION, 4-TRIMESTER HOURS: This is a follow up course for those who have completed the series of the use of English. The course prepares the students to meet up with the task of his day to day communication with English language. The fundamental requirements for a successful use of the language in business interaction are taught. Thus the student is given the tools to break the barriers of miscommunication in the discharge of his work.

L 312 ENGLISH FOR PREACHERS, 4-TRIMESTER HOURS: This course primarily covers all the rudiments of oral English. It is predominantly practical with focus on how the language is applied on the stage. Students for this course must have completed not less than eight credit units of the grammar classes. Additional lectures on how to write and deliver seminar papers will be given.

L 411 ENGLISH AND RESEARCH, 4-TRIMESTER HOURS: This provides a guide for those students who are in their final year or research work. Different methods and techniques of research will be given. Students will be encouraged to do some research into present day problems in Christianity. The ultimate aim is to give the student background for successful research engagements even when he leaves schools.

L 412 CHRISTIAN LITERATURE, 4-TRIMESTER HOURS: Here students are taught to understand and appreciate literacy work. They will be taken above the level of mere acquisition of the facts they read in the text. Students should be able to show awareness and critically respond to how language functions. Emphasis will also be given on Christian classes.

L 321 FRENCH I, II: This course programme is designed as a foreign language course for beginners with the assumption that the ultimate aim of students is to carry the gospel of Christ to French speaking countries.

L 421 FRENCH III: Is designed to consolidate what have been taught in I and II, and expose you to more terms and intonations from the French speaking world. In this course, you will be introduced to readers, in preparation for more advanced literature and Christian text in the next course.

CHP 412 CHRISTIAN EDUCATION, 3-TRIMESTER HOURS: This teaches the growth development and stages of man in relation to his understanding what is taught to him. Though aimed at making the student to be effective communicator in his preaching, teaching and in Sunday school issues.

CHP 413 WORSHIP AND DEVOTIONAL LIFE, 2-TRIMESTER HOURS: This course is to call the students back to where he started by making him be devoted, prayerful and studious, especially in the word of God and related materials.

CHP 414 CRISIS MANAGEMENT, 2-TRIMESTER HOURS: This course is designed to help the student especially those called to be pastors and church leaders to be self confident, have self control and to possess the ability to control any storm that may come their ways.

CHP 415 SHEPHERDING: This is 2 trimester hours. The course that brings the student to the ministry of Jesus Christ who is to our great shepherd. It helps the students to understand caring, church leadership and all pastoral duties.

CHP 416 LAY MINISTRY: This course teaches the duties of the lay workers in the church and helps the students see the usefulness of laities in the church.

CHP 417 YOUTH MINISTRY, 2-TRIMESTER HOURS: This reaches the usefulness of the youth, the needed motivation, how to use the youth and keys to use the youth as church agents.

CHP 418 ESCHATOLOGY, 2-TRIMESTER HOURS: This course is aimed at helping the students be strong in faith and to know the signs and events of the last days. It is generally known as the studies of the last days.

CHP 419 CHARACTER STUDIES, 2-TRIMESTER HOURS: This course is aimed at challenging the students to do greater job for God by exposing him to the lives, efforts, activities, spiritualities, works and words of the past heroes of faith like Moses, Abraham, Samuel, David, Peter Paul etc.

BS 414 ETHNOLOGY, 2-TRIMESTER HOURS: A comprehensive study of how Bible nations were formed, their origins and their link with original creation mentioned in the Bible.

BS 415 EVIDENTIAL THEOLOGY, 2-TRIMESTER HOURS: This course like the systematic theology seeks to direct the student on the issues mentioned by the Bible to prove the  authenticity of the Holy Bible.

BS 416 CATERING, 3-TRIMESTER HOURS: This is a course aiming at helping the missionaries be self supported by teaching them how to prepare different kinds of foods, soap, pomade, creams, detergent, powder, sewing etc.

BS 417 FOOD SCIENCE, 3-TRIMESTER HOURS: Course aiming at helping the students be vast in domestic works like bakery, foods etc.

BS 418 HEALTH SCIENCE, 3-TRIMESTER HOURS: This is a primary helth science aiming at helping the missionaries to know how to live, what to do and the needed drugs to apply where there is no doctor.

LS 112 THE CHURCH AND GOVERNMENT, 2-TRIMESTER HOURS: Course helping the students to know his right in the government, the position and duties of the church, the right of the church etc in the government of the people.

LS 113 CHRISTIANS AND THE LAW, 3-TRIMESTER HOURS: The history of law, the position of the Clergy, freedom of worship, law of acquisitions, landownership, personal and collective ownership, the positions of Christian lawyers and magistrates and issues relating to laws will be exposed to help the student to know his left and right.

LS 114 PARLIAMENTARY LAW, 3-TRIMESTER HOURS: Aiming at helping the students to understand laws governing meetings, still the students will learn how other parliamentary bodies even the government operates.

LS 115 THE BIBLE AND THE LAW, 3-TRIMESTER HOURS: Aiming at helping the Christians to be obedient to the laws of God and of the  nations they belong and the true evidences and significances of the laws.

The school of knowledge dispensation is a full time school, otherwise seen as school in the school. It is full time Bible school attached to EL Theological College with ten departments specifically prepared for both undergraduate and post graduate students who want to be deeper in Christian theology and Bible ministries. It is a four year programme for the bachelor degree students or a two year programme for the Diploma students, and those who would want to go beyond their bachelor programmes and should proceed to their postgraduate programmes should go through ADVANCED COLLEGE OF PASTORAL STUDIES which is an arm of EL Theological College for postgraduate programmes. The school of knowledge dispensation is the most comprehensive school that trains the students for his or her test and always presents the new person out of the students after their four years general training. Students of Bachelor degrees of our college must be those capable of reading, researching, excavating, writing and those capable of contributing in their very field of studies.   BACHELOR OF BIBLICAL EXEGESIS

  BST 801 GENESIS: This course covers the studies of every beginning, the studies of the earliest history, earliest creations, earliest events and a comprehensive comparison with what the science and nature hold.

  BST 802 DEUTERONOMY AND EXODUS: It is great insights of the freedom of enlarged Israel, their experiences and the second laws with a view to understand their experiences from Egypt to Canaan.

  DGI 731 SPECIALIZATION: One of the greatest pride of every scholar is specialization. He is called expert in the very field of his calling or his field of academic. This course aims at bringing him to his specialized courses as an academician and to his specialized field as a master. It is a course for specialization.

  DGI 732 SCHOLASTIC KNOWLEDGE: There are many and different knowledges but there I academic and scholastic knowledge. This is a different knowledge from what others possess. Scholastic knowledge is what is obtained only in the college of higer learning. A scholar in this sense is one who often reads, often studies, often writes, researches, learns and one that receive information. This course will sharpen the student to have knowledge of that education is all about and helps the student to adopt such life as a result of such knowledge.

  DGI 733 SCHOLASTIC INFORMATION: This is the course that teaches and gives desired information to the student. The student is here brought to great knowledge and information that will change his thinking, life and behaviour to a scholastic level.

   

  REQUIREMENTS FOR ADMISSION

  1. Students for bachelor degree must have finished their diploma courses.
  2. Students for PG levels programmes must have finished their masters degree in similar courses or disciplines.
  3. All certificates from similar and different fields of studies are required.
  4. Transcripts from former college(s) authenticating the reality of the students claim.
  5. Letters of recommendation from two referees.
  6. Registration and application through purchasing and obtaining the form.

  INEVITABLE COURSES FOR STUDENTS

  The college of pastoral studies has mapped out some courses that must be researched, studied or be involved by every student. These courses are considered very vital which the college considers very necessary to be studied by every student, irrespective the field of his or her studies, the areas of their major or the course or ministry of their specializations. Every degree student must study six and shall also research another six and report on that while the other students also must study twelve out of the under listed courses and must as well research another twelve courses and also report on them. No student of this institution shall graduate without studying and researching the underlisted courses and report accordingly. These underlisted courses stand as the base and  foundation of our studies. Any student of this institution who has not studied and researched the under listed courses shall be considered as haven’t finished his or her required assignment for graduation.

  THE NECESSITY OF THESE COURSES.
  These courses stand as the comprehensive works of the students because the courses cover the major areas of Christian faith and theological perceptive of the church and the needed knowledge of the called person at the pulpit and in the ministry at large. The student may not even major in any of the courses, but the ideas and the knowledge of these courses are inevitable in his ministry and remain the basic and  foundation of theological  education. Each of the six courses for the Bachelor degree will cover 18 credit hours while the twelve for the P.G. degree students shall cover 36 credit hours. The student of masters degree is mandated to choose another six courses of his or her choice for specific and careful research, while the student of the other degrees is mandated to choose 12 courses of his or her choice for comprehensive researches and reports.

  PERIODS OF READING AND PRIVATE RESEARCHES.
  The students of the masters degree programme shall enter into his or her research at the second six months of his or her studies, while the student of doctoral degree programmes shall enter into his or her private research at the second year of his or her studies together with other researches.

  Below are the stipulated programmes of EL Theological College for postgraduate schools and undergraduate schools of the institution. Students should only heed to programmes applicable to them.

  Here are courses designated to the degree students of this institution.

  1. SHEPHERDING APS 102: This is the advanced lecture on shepherding resulting to the survival of the sheep. The students will be taught all about the flock, the goat, the sheep and other animals (people of different faith and lives). The purpose of this course is to equip the students on pastoral business.
  1. THE CHURCH AND PULPIT ADMIN: This course has to do with the management and administration of the church ragging from the money, men, means ministries, machineries materials and other issues that can lead to church stability and survival.

   

  1. CHRISTIAN THEOLOGY: This course has to do with the faith, doctrines, emphasis and practice of the Christian community. The doctrines of triune God shall be on lead of the discourse.
  1. PASTOROLOGY: This is the combination of the pastoral Theology, shepherding and the issues of the minister’s ministry in the church. It is all about how, what and why the pastor should act.

   

  1. ECCLESIOLOGY: This course treats all about the doctrine of the church authority of the church, mission and ministry of the church. The greatest emphasis shall be laid on the ministers and members strategies to cause growth.
  1. MINISTERIAL ETHICS: This course has to do with the mode of conducts and ecclesiastical activities and standards of the gospel minister. It is all about his exemplary activities that course growth.

   

  1. MISSIONLOGY: This course deals on Christian missions, cross cultural communication, rural evangelism and all about inter-tribal and inter-national ministries of the church.
  1. CHRISTIAN EDUCATION: This course unveils all about the church, schools, Christian education, psychology of education, psychology of ministry, guidance and counseling, Church psychology and all process of learning and teaching with their benefits in the church and in Christian community.

   

  1. CHRISTIAN MINISTRY: This course is all about Christian Ministry with key emphasis on the ethics of preaching, ethics of teaching, charisma, devotion, motivation, building and equipping the saints for the church growth and expansion.
  1. CRISIS MANAGEMENT: This course has to do with stress, distress, storms or crisis. It is all about how to manage crisis, control stress, resolve conflict and restore stability in the family, in the church, in the ministry or within an individual believer.

   

  1. DEMONOLOGY: This course exposes the activities of the demons, origin and missions of the devils. It also deals on covenants, curses, foundational issues and all evil related cases that disturb the believers. This course will help every student to become deliverance minister in this dispensation.
  1. CHURCH GROWTH STRATEGIES: This course shall unveil all about church growth and give wider revelations on what makes the church to grow, the instrument of church growth, key to church growth and how to make the church practically grow to the observation of all.

   

  1. BIBLE CHRONOLOGY 106: The course aims at educating the students on the dates, times and places of events in the Bible according to their chronological order. The purpose of this course is to help the postgraduate student to have full understanding of dates and places of events recorded in the Bible.
  1. SOTERIOLOGY 110: This course has to do with the doctrine of salvation. This is to present Christian salvation as a spiritual issue and reality of Christian emphasis on freedom from sin. It explains salvation in a plan word and presents sin as most dangerous enemy that needs to be conquered by a believer through faith in Christ Jesus and the atoning death on the cross. The purpose of this course is to help the students to understand salvation in its true meaning.

   

  1. HISTORY OF WESTERN PHILOSOPHY 113: This course traces the origin of Greek philosophy and how the Grecian started their views that influenced world today. The western philosophers and their views (Philosophies) shall be treated, while things that surrendered them shall be treated. The purpose of this course is to build the postgraduate students with solid philosophy.
  1. BIBLIOLOGY 114: This is the advanced studies of the origin, the printing, the writing, the inspiration, the authenticity, the transaction and all the process through which we got our Bible, the pose of this course is to equip the postgraduate students with the proper knowledge of Bible.

   

  1. HISTORY OF RELIGION I, 117: This course traces the organ of religion right from the garden of Eden to the time of Noah, through Nimrod and to the establishment of public worship unto what we have today as multiple religions. This is an advanced and postgraduate study that helps the students to be very vast in understanding of all about religion and all its implications.
  1. CHURCH GOVERNMENT 120: This course is based on the governmental systems of the church and how churches are organized to carry on their administration. This is simply the government system approved according to the denominational stand. The purpose of this course is to help the postgraduate student to discover other system of government available today in churches.

   

  1. BIOGRAPHICAL STUDIES APS 012: This is the studies of Christian heroes whose lives, teachings, writings and histories have influenced not only their people but the church today. It is the studies of the lives and activities of missionaries, church fathers and other great Christians who have contributed to what we have today. The purpose of this course is to help the gospel minister to progress.
  1. PASTORAL INTEGRITY APS 022: This course has to do with the integrity, quality of life, personality and moral standard of the pastor. Who is a pastor possessed before the church and before the world? This purpose of this is to help the postgraduate pastor to fit in to be the type of minister God wants.

   

  1. PARLIAMENTARY LAW APS 023: This course has to do with church meetings and systems of meetings in the church. It is about the law that governs meetings. This is all about the parliamentary system in the church government especially in church meetings. How can we put motion, adjourn the meeting and vote and how shall the minutes of the meetings be written and read? The purpose of this course is to help the postgraduate pastor to be full organized in his parliamentary church system.
  1. CHRISTIANITY 1002: This course traces the birth, practices, faith and doctrines of Christianity, the invisible and visible relationship of man with God his maker. This course traces the history and practices of Christianity and all about Christianity as the living gospel on earth. The purpose of this course is to show the faith and mission of Christianity.

   

  1. O.T. HISTORY 1003: This course traces and sees all about the history and people of the Old Testament of the Christian Bible. The purpose of this course is to equip the postgraduate student holder the full knowledge of the Old Testament matters, issues and peoples.
  1. EVIDENTIAL THEOLOGY 1017: This course treats all about the Christian beliefs on Bible events recorded by the Christian scripture proving that such things like the flood, destruction of Sodom, Abraham’s sacrifice at mount Moriah, Noah, wife as a pillar of salt and other things recorded by the Bible that need physical evidences and sightseeing. This course proves that those things happened with literal and present evidences hence the Bible cannot lie but things that really happened on earth.

   

  1. TRINITIOLOGY 1020: This course treats “Trinity” the three persons in the one God head still not three gods. This course will unveil why three person but one “God” while considered as spirit but three person if considered as personalities. This aimed at keeping the students in social faith.
  1. CHRISTOLOGY 1028: This course is to treat the incarnation, divinity, personality and pre-existence of Jesus Christ the “WORD” of God. The course is the pre-existence of Christ, personality of Christ, divine nature and human nature of Christ. The course aims at presenting Christ as a complete God man. He is God who cannot lie and also a man who only came to die for others. The purpose of this course is to unveil who Christ really is.

   

  1. AFRICAN PHILOSOPHY 1037: This course is on African reasoning, thoughts and practices i.e. projects Africans of living, culture and project. The religious ideas, festivities and daily activities of the Africans shall be looked into. The purpose of this course is to educate the student on African ideology.
  1. ESCHATOLOGY 1039: This course treats all about the last days, last things and last life after life. In general this is the study of last things. It is called the theology of the last hours. The purpose of this course is to equip the student with the issues of last days.

   

  1. THE GOSPEL 1046: This course focuses on the ministries parables, teachings, life and sermons of Jesus and the important cities of his ministry as were revealed by the four gospels in our New Testament Bible. The purpose of this course is to equip the students with the total ministries and life of Jesus as were revealed by the first your books of the New Testament.

   

  STUDY INFORMATION:

  The above shall cover the 18 months duration of studies for Bachelor degree course only. Each session of 6 months has four (4) courses to unveil. Each of the courses above may have more than two text books or handouts and students are advised to get all.

  The above course cover all areas of ministerial studies required by the student, therefore every student shall heed to the study ethics and all instructions as these are the  present requirements. Our degree students will study 14 courses.

  SPECIALIZATIONS FOR P.G. DEBREE STUDENTS.
  Students are advised to focus their ideas to the areas of their specialization. Each student is herewith advised to go to libraries or book stores and copy our eighteen (18) books dealing with the course of his or her specialization and arrange all in this form.

  1. Write the title of the books.
  2. Write the author and year of publication.
  3. Write the contents of each of the books.
  4. Write the number of the pages of each of the books
  5. Make specific statement on the emphasis or focus of each of the books (Not less than four pages)
  6. Type all these, bind them and forward all to your instructor for proper supervision.
  7. Any failure on this is a failure in this programme also.
  8. Summarize your benefits, understandings, derivations and your key knowledge on the 18 books you read, by lifting up some chapters and contents and present the same to your instructor. This requires only six books of not less than 60 pages each for the master degree students, while the doctoral degree students shall present 12 books of not less than 80 pages each. This shall be bond and be presented maturely. They shall be marked after viewing them and shall serve as parts of your exams.
  9. Present six term papers of not less than 20 pages from M.A. students while DR stand of not less than 32 pages, as a result of the contents of the book or from few chapters of the fifteen (15) books you read and bind all as well and present all to your instructor.

   

  Note, none of your term papers shall come outside of the eighteen books you read, rather search for the most attractive chapters and make your term paper from three books out of eighteen books you read. Each term paper shall not be less than 20 for MA

   

  PASTOROLOGICAL STUDIES.

  This programme is designed for the senior ministers of the gospel who are on full time gospel ministry for the LORD. It is a course for  called apostles, prophets, Evangelists, pastors and for called teachers at the altar of the Lord.

  The programme is designed to help the Bible preachers and teachers and for all who may occupy leadership posts in the church of God. It is for the leaders of God’s people and all who desire to lead, teach or preside over the congregation of the LORD.

  This programme is designated to create insight to the Biblical teachers and preachers and to educate them in Biblical mysteries, church community and the religious world at large. It is a two year programme for the full time gospel preachers and teachers who have acquired their Diploma in related discipline or four years for those without their initial experience or without Diploma. It is both graduate and undergraduate studies and extend also to the postgraduate studies on the same route.

   

  GRADUATE PACKAGES.

  The graduate packages are known as the graduate courses. These are the expected course for our graduate students. The keys to studies are to be understood and the aim and purpose of each course, and to summarize the course. Major emphasis are on the introduction and the summary of the course, then followed by an academic research on the very course in order to understand it well. Below are courses for our graduate students.

  1. GENERAL PREAMBLE:

  These are courses that must be studies in Eltheco campus. Some of these courses are seminar, special lessons or issues that demand serious attention in this school of this institution.

  PS 501 INTRODUCTION TO PREAMBLE STUDIES: This is an introduction of what the  graduate school and its studies look like. This course gives insight of what follows the graduate education. This of course, is the beginning of postgraduate idea to the student. This course gives the student idea or hint of what he would meet and be in his graduate school.

  PS 502 THOUGHT CREATION AND THEORIES: This is a graduate seminar on how to create ideas, theories, courses and issues that demand attention. Students will be taught on how to create ideas that would form a strong legacy for the blessings of others.

  PS 503 ECCLESIASTICAL ANTHROPOLOGY: This course is a graduate seminar dealing on the philosophical life of the church. It helps the graduate to understand what the church is and what the church stands for and how the church lives as a body of Christ.

  PS 504 HISTORY AND INTERPRETATION OF THEOLOGICAL COURSES: This course is a graduate seminar dealing on how to interpret theological course, the meaning of  courses and the history of theological courses in our Bible Colleges today. The understanding of the courses will help the students to be an authority and to master the course.

  PS 505 PHILOSOPHY OF MANAGEMENT: This course features three issues:

  1. Philosophy of management which deals on managerial matters.
  2. Psychology of leadership which treats leadership qualities and all its programmes.
  3. Craft of teaching which treats how to teach, what to teach, how to impart knowledge and stages of knowledge in man.

  PS 506 EDUCATION MANAGEMENT: This course is on the keys to graduate seminar on how to manage life and education and keys to study and master the course fully as an authority. It deals on how to master ideas and theories of life.

  PS 507 PHILOSOPHY OF THEOLOGY: This course is on other theological ideas, philosophical matters in theology and other theories in Christian theology. It presents all other ideas and theories concerning what the church believes and also presents the ones already agreed by the church and the Hebrews.

  PGG 601 BIBLE STATISTICS: This course is on the major events of the Bible, records of what great characters did in the Bible, records of wars, famines, deliverance, fears and records of exiles and things that follow them, the aim is to make the student to master the Bible.

  PGG 602 MYTHOLOGY: This is the studies of the ancient myths, oral traditions, Semitic records and other ancient views about life and human existence. The purpose of this course is to give solid Christian foundation to the student of graduate school.

  PGG 603 ETHNOLOGY: This course is on the history, life, migration, development, settlement and th4e cultures of nations, especially in the Bible days and during the Old Testament times. It deals with the views, ideas and lives of each ethnic group found in the Bible and in the history, The purpose of this course is to help the students to have solid understanding that the Bible records and God’s dealing with Israel are time and  divine.

  PGG 604 BIBLE ETYMOLOGY:  This is the study of the origin and means of the Bible words. It is to discover the original Hebrew, Aramaic, Greek or Latin words used in our today’s Bible to know how to apply them in today’s ministries. The purpose of this course is to help the student to be Bible based and to be Bible authority.

  PGG 605 JUSISDICTIOLOGY: This course treats Bible laws to people, to nations and to Israel. It is on the laws of God and principles of living. It brings laws and judgment of God into one class. It helps to know why there is God’s judgment after this world. The purpose of this curse is for the student to be interpreter of the Bible laws and judgments.

  PGG 606 BIBLE CHRONOLOGY: This course aims at educating the students on the dates, time and places of events in the Bible according to their chronological order. The purpose of this course is to help the graduate students to have full understanding of  dates and places of events recorded in the Bible.

  PGG 607 BIBLE DIGEST: This course unveils the miracles, teachings, parables and life of Christ and also presents Christ and the only theme of the entire Bible. The purpose of this course is to make the graduate students Bible based ands Bible scholar of the New Testament church of Jesus Christ.

  PGG 608 CRUCIFIXIOLOGY (THEOLOGY VII): This is a course that fights the Bible critics and all opposes of Bible revelations. It is devoted to answer all false allegations against the crucifixion of Jesus on the cross and opposed the Muslim fabrication that presents Judas Iscariot as being crucified instead of Jesus Christ. It presents Jesus as the one crucified, who also died and resurrected after three days. The purpose of this course is to help the graduate students to understand the mystery of Christ death.

  PGG 609 HISTORY OF INSPIRATION: This course tells on how the Bible was revealed, how the Bible came to us, peoples view about the Bible and the testimonies about the Bible. The course unveils the authority of the Bible and presents the Bible as the true word of God in human literature and the final revelation to man from God. The purpose of this course is to help the graduates students to trust the Bible as the word and revelation from God.

  PGG 610 SOTERIOLOGY: This course has to do with the doctrine of salvation. This is to present Christian salvation as a spiritual issue and the reality of Christian emphasis on freedom from sin.   PGG 611 PHRASEOLOGY: This is one of the most important courses of the graduate school. The course deals on the particular in which words, phrases and articles arrange when saying or writing something. This tells the student on how to write a book, how to present a talk and how to put ones idea in an organized way. This is beyond journalism or Christian writing but an advanced idea of putting words for meaningful usage. This course will help the students to understand writing hence that is part of his graduate works.

  PGG 612 PHYSIOLOGY: This course is on the study of the normal functions of living things. It will dwell on the proper functions of man’s body, blood, soul and spirit. The course will differentiate the functions of man from other living things and directs how man can peacefully dwell and finally reach his eternity.

  PGG 614 BIBLIOLOGY: This is the advanced studies of the origin, the printing, the writing, the inspiration, the authenticity, the translation and all the process through  which we got our Bible. The purpose of this course is to equip the postgraduate students with the proper knowledge of the Bible.

  PGG 615 PHILOLOGY (INTRODUCTION TO BIBLE LANGAUAGES): This course explains some words in the Bible with our today’s language and gives meaning to changed phrases in the Bible. The meaning of words, places, things and difficult matters are majored. The purpose of this course is to equip the graduate students with the proper understanding of the Bible language words and phrases.

  PGG 616 HERESIES: This is an advanced theological course dealing with Heresies. This course explains what heresy is and what heresy is not. It majors in explanation and teaching of the following:-

  1. HERESY (Heresology)
  2. DELUSION (Delussiology)
  3. REGRESSION (Regressiology) and finally directs students to the Bible truth with a solid foundation in Christ.

Both the negative and the positive sides of this debate shall be studies and dangers attached to that shall be exposed through this study. The purpose of this course is to train the mind  of a graduate student to be mature.

  PGG 619 SCHOLASTICISM: This is both religious and theological debate that produces the different ideas of life, world, man, eternity and principles of living. It is a system of  philosophy that is based on religious and theological principles of activities writing and teaching. The purpose of this course is to make a graduate student a fountain of knowledge.

  PGG 620 CHURCH GOVERNMENT: This course is based on the governmental systems of the church and how churches are organized to carry on their administrations. This is simply the government system approved according to the denominational stand. The purpose of this course is to help graduate students to discover other systems of government available today in the churches.

  PGG 621 THE CHURCH AND THE GOVERNMENT: This course is about the relationship of the church and the secular government. It is fully on what the church owes the secular government, what the government owes the church and all rights of church members as true citizens of the land. The purpose of this course is to help the graduate students to know his rights in the society and in the land or country of his birth.

  PGG 622 INTERPERSONAL RELATIONSHIP: This course has to do with how to develop and maintain relationship with another fellow. It is pastoral course dealing on positive relationship with insiders and outsiders order to cause growth and balance ideas from others. The purpose of this course is to shape the psychological system of the graduate students.

  PGG 623 PHILOSOPHY OF LEARNING: This is course on the philosophy of learning and the purpose of teaching. This is an educational course aiming at bringing the student to an advanced seat of knowledge and studies. The purpose of this course is to build the graduate student with the purpose of learning, benefits of education and with the scholastic quality as a graduate certificate holder in our society.

   

  ADVANCED PASTORAL STUDIES.

  This is a specialized field of studies for church leaders, church founders and all those who occupy one big post or the other in the church of GOD. This field of studies shall benefit church officers, pulpit ministers and those in church administrations or leadership.

   

  PASTORAL ETHICS
  DP 701 CHARACTER STUDIES: This is the study of Bible characters, especially those who occupied great positions in the leadership and government of Israel. Their secrets of success and qualities of life shall be discussed and reviewed. Nevertheless, people like Noah, Abraham, Moses, Joshua, Samuel and others shall be studied to challenge the students in his pastoral business.

  DP 702 HEROLOGY: This is the study of the Bible heroes like the Bible Characters the emphasis on this is what the heroes did, their works strategies and visions shall be studied in order to build the graduate pastoral students. The people like David, Solomon, Elijah, Ezra, John the Baptist, Peter and Paul shall be studied in order to bring their strategies life to us.

  DP 705 LIFE OF CHRIST: This is an advanced ministerial study dealing with the life, character and records on Christ. It is a course on the testimonies of others, testimonies of the prophets and the testimonies of heaven and Bible about Jesus and even the personal testimonies of Jesus about Him. The course will go ahead to reveal how Jesus lived and how he faced oppositions, attacks and persecutions in his days. How he called, cared and taught his people shall be discussed and be acknowledged. This course aims at challenging the student with Jesus Character.

  DP 706 THE MINISTRY OF CHRIST: This course is on the preaching, teaching parables and miracles of Christ. The total study in this case centres on what Jesus did in his ministry during his lifetime on earth. The purpose of this course is to help the graduate pastor to take examples from the ministries of ministry. This is an advanced course in the ministry.

  DP 707 CHURCH ADMINISTRATION: This course is on how to make the church be what God has planned it to be using good administration. This has to do with the usage of men and things around to score the goal of the church. This course will treat the  works of the administrator and how the administrator can use others to project all pprogrammes of the church. The purpose of this course is to help the pastor survive.

  DP 708 CHURCH LEADERSHIP: This course is on the total leadership thrugh inspiration to others, motivation to others, delegating others, influencing and discipline others by showing examples on how the business should be. It is on general church leadership. The course will emphasize on the life of a leader, how to lead and what to lead and secret of all successful leadership. This course is for the leadership success in the church.

  DP 709 CHURCH MANAGEMENT: This is on how to use men, money, machinery, materials and the ministry to achieve both sacred and secular success. It explains management as the proper use of the 5 ms in the church. This purpose of this course is to groom the graduate pastor in the forgotten issues in the church of God.

  DP 710 CHRISTIAN DIRECTORSHIP: This course is on how to direct internal and external issues in the church and of the church. This is among the administrative studies in the church. It has to do with organization, delegation, supervision and appointments in the body of Christ. The purpose of this course is to groom the graduate pastor on frequent issues on his table and under the floor.

  DP 711 ECCLESIOLOGY: This is the study about the functions, ministries, activities, beliefs and worship of the church. It has to do with different methods through which the church can reach its destination, score its goals, fulfills its missions and pleases its master. Ecclesiology is a pastoral business dealing with ministerial pastures. How shall we achieve our goals and who shall we use? It is not the ministries of I but of we (not one person but many). The purpose of this course is for the pastor to know how to use lay workers in his church to score the church goals.

  DP 712 PASTORAL ETHICS: This course has to do with the social and spiritual standards of life expected of the pastors, the conducts and duties of the pastor. What and how the pastor is expected to behave, act and to live in public and private places. The ministry of the pastor and issues surrounding the pulpit activities of the man of God is the focus. The purpose of this course is to help graduate pastors to understand ethics surrounding his calling.

  DP 713 PASTORAL INTEGRITY: This course has to do with the quality of life, personality and moral standard of the pastor. Who is a pastor, how does a pastor behave and what type of respect does the pastor possess before the church and before the world? The purpose of this course is to prepare the graduate pastor to fit in and the type of minister God wants.

  DP 714 PARLIAMENTARY LAW: This course has to do with church meeting and systems of meetings in the church. It is about the laws that govern meetings. This is all about the parliamentary system in the church government especially in church meetings.   DP 715 ZOOLOGY: This is practically the study of animals. The course is practically on the study of behaviours of people (flocks) from different tribes, different races and different cultures in the church. The course aims at helping the graduate pastor to understand and make them to be one people of God in the Church and on earth.

  PR 801 JUDAISM PGH: This course traces the doctrine history and practices of the Jewish religion founded by Moses. The religion of Israel known as Judaism demands more attention of the students of religion. The purpose of this course is to help the students to have the full knowledge of Judaism the Jewish religion that gave birth to Christianity, the gospel of life.

  PR 802 CHRISTIANITY: This course traces the birth, practices, faith and doctrines of Christianity, the invisible and visible relationship of man with God his maker. This course traces the history and practices of Christianity and all about Christianity as the  living gospel on earth. The purpose of this course is to show the faith and mission of Christianity.

  PR 803 O.T. HISTORY: This course traces and sees all about the history and people of the Old Testament of the Christian Bible. The purpose of this course is to equip the graduate degree holder with the full knowledge of the Old Testament matters issues and peoples.

  PR 804 O.T. RELIGIONS: This course treats and traces other religion sects, cultures and deities found in the Old Testament times. The effects of false religions of the heathen nations around Israel shall be discussed. The purpose of this course is to help doctorate degree holder to have the total knowledge of the religions, cultures and deities seen in Old Testament.

  PR 805 N.T. HISTORY: This course traces and treats all about the New Testament history. The environment in which Christ lived, the government and people of the New Testament, the problems and crisis that surrounded th New Testament world and the conditions of the Hebrews before Christ came shall be discussed. The purpose of this course is to equip the graduate degree holder with the total events of the New Testament world.

  PR 806 N.T. RELIGIONS: This course treats and traces the religions, sects, cults and deities seen in the New Testament times before and during the birth of the church in Israel. The purpose of this course is to enrich the graduate degree New Testament religions.

  PR. 807 CHRISTIANITY AFRICA: This course treats and traces the earliest movement of Christianity in Africa. It covers how the church reached the Africans and the speed movement of the church in Africa, covering between the first and third century AD the purpose of this course is to equip the graduate degree students with the early impact of the church in black Africa.

  PR. 808 ISLAM I: This course treats and traces the life and works of Mohammed the prophet and religious founder of the Islamic world. The course will unveil how Mohammed got his burden, vision and prophecies before he began. The family background of the prophet shall also be exposed. The purpose of this course is to equip the graduate  degree students with the original issue of the Islam.

  PR 809 ISLAM II: This course treats , traces and unveils all secrets of Sharia law. Why are Sharia law, the effects of Sharia law and the origin of Sharia law. The purpose of this course is to equip the graduate degree holder to have full knowledge of the Sharia law and all its effects.

  PR 810 ISLAM III: This course treats, traces and unveils all about organization of Islamic Conference (O.I.C.). The course treats what were done there; the purpose of the organization and all membership countries of the O.I.C. the purpose of this course is to enlighten the graduate student all about the O.I.C. world and their activities.

  PR 811 MUSLIM PHILOSOPHY: This course treats and unveils the practices, beliefs and religious activities of the Muslims. This purpose of rites, rituals and Muslim ceremonies shall be discussed. The purpose of this course is to enlighten the doctorate degree holder with the faith and practices of Muslims.

  PR 812 HINDULISM: This course traces the history, practices, beliefs and the rituals in Hindus. The student will learn how to approach the Hindus through this course. The purpose of this course is to help the would be graduate to understand all about Hinduism as one of the major religions of the world today.

  PR 813 RELIGION AND INTERNATIONAL STUDIES: This course traces and unveils the impacts of Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, heathenism and other religions in different countries of the world. The percentage of each religion in a particular country in this world is recorded for true evaluation and evangelization. The purpose of the course is to educate the would be doctor on the impact of religions (especially the Christianity) in this world.

  PR 814 AFRICAN TRADITIONAL RELIGION: This course traces and studies the traditional beliefs in Africa. The course focused in religion, cultures, deities, worships and festivals in Africa more in West Africa, peculiar to Nigerian religions with more or greater concentration in Igbo religion and cultural activities. The purpose of this course is to build the graduate with a full knowledge of his father’s faith.

  PASTORAL THEOLOGY

  PT 9915 ANGELOLOGY: This course treats and traces the origin of angels, the activities of angels in heaven, the work of angels, the classes of angels and why the angels exist till date. The course is all about the angels all their forms and works. The purpose of this course is to keep the knowledge of the graduate student about this great theology.

  PT 916 DEMONOLOGY: This course treats all about fallen angels whom later became demons. The works of demon, activities of demons, origin of demons, why are they demons and where are they presently. The final end of demons shall be discussed in this course. The purpose of this course is to equip the students with the shifted truth in the church.

  PT 917 EVIDENTIAL THEOLOGY: This course is all about the Christian beliefs on Bible events recorded by the  Christian scripture proving that such things like the flood, destruction, Sodom, Abraham’s sacrifice ay mount Moriah, Lot’s wife as a pillar of salt and other things recorded by the Bible that need physical evidences and sightseeing. This course proves that those things happened with literal and present evidences hence the Bible cannot lie about things that really happened on earth.

  PT. 918 THE APOSTOLIC CREED: This course treats and teaches the faith, practices and doctrinal stand of the apostles of Christ. The course unveils what the Christian beliefs and standards should be based on what the apostles preached, practical and taught. The purpose of this course is to bring the faith and confessions of the apostles to our memory.

  PT 919 BIBLE ANTHROPOLOGY: This course presents man as God presents him. It is the divine and scriptural studies of the origin of man, the component of man, spirit of  man, free will of man, eternity in view, judgment for man, emotion, conscience, will blood, flesh, spirit and the heart of man. The course treats why man dies, sick, weak and why man can fall or can resist temptations. The purpose of this course is to equip the student to understanding the make-ups of man according to the Bible (God).

  PT 920 BIBLE THEOLOGY: This course is all about whom God is, what God is, where God is and all about God’s revelation to man according to the Bible revelations. The manifestations of God in Bible days and all attributes of God shall be discussed. This is an advanced course of the doctorate degree standard. The purpose of this course is to equip the student with what he did not hear in his undergraduate courses.

  PT 921 TRINITIOLOGY: This course treats all about trinity, the three persons in God head still not three gods. This course will unveil why three persons but one “God” the emphasis revealed that God is only one God while considered as spirit but three persons if considered as personalities. This is aimed at keeping the students in social faith.

  PT 922 SYSTEMATIC THEOLOGY: This course is on the systematized and harmonized theology, which recorded what the Bible says both in letter, in figure and in history. This course brings the theology to the direct understanding of the student. The purpose of this course is to bring the student to the full knowledge of the most important area of the Christian faith.

  PT 923 COMPARATIVE THEOLOGY: This course compares the teachings, emphasis and principles of different religions of world to check or consider their areas of agreement and matters of disagreement. The purpose of this course is to help the graduate student to understand the faith and beliefs of other religions of the world.

   PT  924  LEADERSHIP THEOLOGY: This course is fully on the actions, principles and what the church leaders should do, how the leader should live and all practices of the  church leader. The purpose of this course is to prepare the students for great Christian leadership in the church and the society at large.

  PT 925 GAP THEOLOGY: This course argues that there was a gap in the book of Genesis chapter one, from verses 3 – 28 and produces evidences that there was world before Adam and Eve were created. The course argues that the present planet earth has existed many thousands or millions of years contrary to the very 7000 years presented by usher and his chronological research on the Bible genealogy.

  PT 926 BIBLE TOPOGRAPHY: This course is devoted to study the rivers, mountains, seas, hills and places mentioned in the church Bible and their features. There significance’s role and their religious symbols and significances to our Christian faith today shall be viewed and focused. The purpose of this curse is to build the graduate students with total information from the Bible.

  PT 927 TRANSUBTANTIOLOGY: This course is on the doctrine of transubstantiation, which teaches that the Holy Communion, wine and Bread automatically become the body and blood of Jesus Christ after the priest blessings. Nevertheless, this course argues that theory and present Christian standard belief on that matter. The purpose of this course is to help the student to understand what the church, baptism and Holy Communion stand in Christian faith and practice. This is a part of the theology of the cross and atonement.

  PT 928 CHRISTOLOGY: This course is to treat the incarnation, divinity, personality and pre-existence of Jesus Christ the “WORD” of God. This course is the pre-existence of Christ, personality of Christ, divine nature and human nature of Christ. The course aim at presenting Christ as a complete God and complete man. He is God who cannot die and also a man who only came to die for others. The purpose of this course is to unveil who Christ really is.

  PT 929 BIBLE ARCHAEOLOGY: This course is on Bible archaeology and the scripture sciences. It treats scientific matters treated by the Bible. The course is the Genesis accounts and issues that have been confirmed by the archaeologies and scientists of our days. The purpose of this curse is to prove to the student that the Bible records are true.

  PT 930 MONASTICISM: This course treats and surveys the teachings that project the philosophy of separation. This course treats and argues that ministers should separate themselves from people for religious devotions. It is a course on “SEPARATION” or a course for staying “Apart”  for spiritual business of God known as “DEVOTION”. The purpose of this course is to help the student to understand the mood and mode of Christian devotion.

   

  PASTORAL PHILOSOPHY
  PH 931 INTRODUCTION TO PHILOSOPHY: This course introduces philosophy as means of living and daily activities of a man. The course major on parts of philosophy and necessary matters in man’s beliefs and behaviours. The purpose of this course is to build the understanding, wisdom and knowledge of the students on the solid rock of life.

  PH 932 APOLOGETICS: This course is on the defense of faith. It presents other theories and ideas as were  projected the Christian faith as the final revelations of God. The  purpose of this course is to show other philosophies outside the Bible as false and fake if they contradicted in the Bible truth and revelation.

  PH 933 ETHICS: This is different from pastoral ethics already discussed in this matter. This course is on the guidelines and conduct of daily living. How to do what to do and when to do it. The purpose of this course is to help the students to have understood more on how to live and what to do as life exists.

  PH 934 COMMUNISM: This course has to do with the beliefs and practices of the communist countries. It is to study and to understand what the communism is all about and all principles governing the idea of the communists. The purpose of this course is to equip the students especially the missionary on the idea of the communist especially those for foreign missions.

  PH 935 ORIGIN OF PHILOSOPHY: This course is  on the origin of philosophy which traces how philosophy started, the initial thought that gave birth to what we today call philosophy. The purpose of this course is to equip the student with the origin of thoughts that gave birth to many developments in our world today.

  PH 936 SOCIOLOGY AND PSYCHOLOGY OF LEARNING: This course simply treats two things (a) Sociology of learning and Psychology of learning. It is an educational course for the graduate students. The purpose of this curse is to equip the student academically.

  PH 937 FICTIOLOGY: This course treats all religious theories, fictions and the ideas of some sects and cults. Attention is also give to the international cults and other religious sects of the world. Histories and doctrines of such cults shall be majored to equip the graduate students. The purpose of this course is to build the student on the sound philosophy.

  PH 938 AFRICAN PHILOSOPHY: This course is on African reasoning, thoughts and practice i.e. projects African system of living, culture and project. The religious ideas, festivities and daily activities of the Africans shall be looked into. The purpose of this course is to educate the student on African ideology.

  PH 939 IDEOLOGY: This course is philosophy of ideas which treats the beliefs and ideas that influence people’s lives and behaviours. This course as a philosophy is purely on the idea and culture that control or influence people’s lives, behaviours and confessions. The purpose of this course is to bring the students to social maturity and students.

   

  BIBLICAL COURSES

  BC 940 ESCHATOLOGY: This course treats all about the last days, last things and last life after life. In general, this is the study of last things. It is called the theology of the last hours. The purpose of this course is to equip the students with the issues of last days.

  BC 941 PATRARCHIOLOGY: This is the study of the fathers past with concentration of the lives of Noah, Abraham Job, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph and Lot. The lives, ministries and leadership of these seven men will be majored. Their biography and life achievements shall be treated with a focus on how they ended their race. The purpose of this course is to challenge the students to plus life and productivity.

  BC 942 BIBLE PNUEMATOLOGY: This course deals directly on the teachings and  doctrines of the Holy Spirit as was revealed by the Bible especially the experience of the  Pentecost in Acts of the Apostles chapter two. The person, actions, works, gifts and fruits of the Holy Ghost. This course is to help the students on the issues concerning the Holy Ghost.

  BC 943 O.T. PEOPLES AND PLACES: This course directly discusses the peoples and places in the Old Testament times. The course will treat the features of peoples, nations and places of important events in the Bible. The purpose of this course is to educate the students about peoples, nations and places that featured prominently in Old Testament times.

  BC 944 BIBLE LANDS AND CULTURES PG II 1042: This course treats the lands, cultures and areas mentioned in the Bible. The focuses shall be the land in which Abraham lived and land in which Moses lived, the land and culture in the days of David, the land and culture in the days of Jesus and the land and culture that gave birth to the church. The purpose of this course is to make the students a Bible authority.

  BC 943 BIBLE LAWS: This course treats all about laws and judgments in the Bible. The laws from the Old Testament part of the Bible especially those in the five books of Moses. The purpose of this course is to survey all laws found in the Bible and plan of God for man.
